a series of woodcut prints for a project about trees

Today I made my own paper and bound them together to make a small book

the date 10.01.11 inspired a mini-project on binary

Train of Thought

Part of my Idioms project

Initially stitched the image into plain canvas,

then used Photoshop layering for a collage effect

Blink of an Eye

As an extension to my Idioms project, I experimented with photography

Using an overhead projector and acetate layering I projected the image of a clock face onto an eye

Letterpress

Today I attended a letterpress workshop to extend my Idioms project

Idioms

This brief was to illustrate traditional English idioms

I chose 'train of thought' and 'in the blink of an eye'
